Surf Coast
Stretching from Torquay to Lorne along the Great Ocean Road, this coastline is synonymous with surfing and beach culture.
Torquay is the national home of surfing and the birthplace of several world-renowned surf brands that we all know and love. Bells Beach is just around the corner, a surfing mecca famous for hosting the Rip Curl Pro. If you want to take in the coastal beauty from land you can embark along the 44-kilomentre Surf Coast Walk.
The Surf Coast is also a melting pot of gastronomy, with celebrated restaurants and local produce. Mix in the craft breweries, distilleries and wineries and you have it all. Heading away from the coastline and you will discover rural living and farming as well as rainforest, trails and waterfalls, such as Erskine Falls in the Lorne hinterland.

The Bellarine Peninsula
On the western side of Port Phillip Bay, the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula sits about 100 kilometres southwest of Melbourne. From the rolling hills dotted with rural farms to chilled out coastal towns, there is so much to see and do.
On your way to the Bellarine take time to explore the many attractions Geelong has to offer. From there it is a short trip to Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale. Take a ride on The Bellarine Railway or meander along the Bellarine Taste Trail.
Wherever you venture you will be greeted with an abundance of wineries and breweries, farmgate and provodores, restaurants and cafes.

The Otways
Where the rainforest, full of giant trees, fern gullies and waterfalls, meets the Southern Oceans rugged coastal beauty and sandy beaches. The Otways is dotted with remarkable coastal hamlets, and as you continue along the coastline you can venture along the Great Ocean Walk or visit the Cape Otway Lighthouse.
The Otways hinterland is situated on the third largest volcanic plain in the world. Indulge in artisan food, wine, beer and produce along the Otway Harvest Trail.
For those who like some action hit the many mountain bike trails, four-wheel drive tracks or go on a treetop adventure. Explore the unique beauty of this area and the people who live here.
